I kicked off January 2020 with a bang! After impressing my friend with my gourmet dinners for over a year, he convinced me that it was time for me to show the world my other gift- cooking and entertaining.
Building off of my podcast series, I launched the We Can’t Make This Up Dinner Series with the goal to create an intimate, safe space where people could build a sense of community outside of the workplace. In addition to fostering the idea of building community, I wanted to embrace the idea that one should have other hobbies/ pastimes outside of their job as those very things become your saving grace when work gets hectic. My favorite pastime is cooking so it only made sense for me to me to serve as the hostess and chef.
The idea of bringing good people, good vibes and good food together had been something that my grandmother did every Sunday for our family and friends. There’s nothing better to me than seeing people together, breaking bread, talking about life and for a moment, forgetting about the stressors of everyday life.
The night was everything and more! 20 hand-picked guests from different career backgrounds, a delicious 3-course dinner and a custom swag gift bag was a combination for success. Not to mention that every detail was executed to maximize branding and overall experience.
