Cooking Live with Lyric- Garlic Butter Steak

I was craving a steak from a steakhouse, but due to the quarantine, I admit have been so paranoid to leave my home. So of course, I decided to make a steak at home. Because there is a meat shortage, I opted to get a lower quality meat that actually is a great price and cooks up really nicely. If you haven’t tried chuck steak you are missing out.
Some have said that the chuck steak is the poor man’s ribeye and I am okay with that because this steak tastes amazing. When not overcooked, the meat is really tender and holds seasoning and flavors well.
This steak is super easy to make and just needs a little seasoning, olive oil and a great flat top grill or T Fal Nonstick Griddle. My favorite ones to use are as below:
For me, I always pair my steak with a potato of sorts and a vegetable. Honestly, this simple recipe felt like I was at a 5-star restaurant. Even when the “world returns to normalcy”, or whatever that means, I will be incorporating this into my dinner repetoire It’s going to be perfect during the summer over a leafy salad with a glass of sangria.
